Our café is of modern construction, 2005, which features extensive use of timber, including a dado wall made from our 1875 ceiling panel boards and a sound absorbing ceiling, affording a very relaxed and comfortable setting. Dining is also available on the surrounding verandahs and in our substantial cottage garden.
Liz’s food is of a very high standard with 99% of it prepared from fresh ingredients on the premises. Her cooking is based on traditional style (mostly baked not fried) and accompanied by delicious and imaginative salads and sauces and where appropriate, served with home made relish or chutney.
The large number of patrons who now make a round trip of over 100km to enjoy Liz’s meals and cakes is testimony to the quality of Liz’s fare.
